[HumanSer] driver's license required

A case manager job does not require you to be a driver to perform its
essential job duties.
The o.net site can confirm this.
You can use uber or lyft, and get reimbursement like everyone else who uses
gas for their job.

Or, you can hire a driver, and or have the agency do it which is best, and
they can pay the person.
Some case managers, hire their own drivers, though I don't know how they
paid for it.
Public transit, depending on the situation is also an option.
Having clients come to you in the office also works.
Just look at the job and think about accommodations.

You can go to the Job accommodation site (JAN) for more ideas.

Subject: [HumanSer] driver's license required

Hello. My name is Rachel. I have a master's in divinity. For the past two
and a half years, I have worked for the Maryland Department of Human
Services with the SNAP program. I am looking for a job in case management,
but most positions require a driver's license. How have you dealt with this?
Have you been successful in convincing your employer to provide a reasonable
accommodation?
P.S. will the human services division meeting at convention be streamed?
Thank you for any help you can offer.
Rachel
