It will be essential for us to give our input into these kiosks.

 WE NEED YOUR HELP...
>
> The Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities and the Department of
> Revenue would like to invite you to test the City of Chicago’s new
> prototype Pay-Ease kiosk.
>
> The new kiosk is designed to be accessible to individuals with
> disabilities. Among its design features:
>
> *
> Controls positioned so that they are operable by individuals with
> mobility impairments, including those who use wheelchairs;
> *
> A tactile keypad for use by individuals who cannot use touch screen
> technology; and
> *
> An audio interface and an audio output slot for headphones that allows
> individuals who are blind or have visual impairments to use audio
> prompts to complete transactions.
> Pay-Ease kiosks are currently available at a number of locations to
> help residents conveniently pay water bills, pay taxes, deal with
> parking tickets and respond to red light camera notices.
>
> We are asking people with disabilities to come and test the machine and
> let us know how it works. Your input will allow us to make improvements
> to the design before it goes into production and allow the City to
> ensure that our services continue to be accessible to all Chicagoans.
> Complimentary headphones will be available for use during testing.
>
