hi folks, i'm back. just a reminder aabout st. christopher church. to those who have not been there before, oak park sounds a like a far distance. it is not. 

the address is 545 s. East ave, which is the northwest corner of Adams and East.BLUE LINE 

take the blue line train west towards forest park. get off at the oak part station. 

there are two exits at that station. Oak Park ave and East ave. 

when you get off the train from the loop turn east and as the name fits you will exit on to East. 

then you turn left on East. you have to walk 3 short blocks,cross 4 streets, all are 4 way stop streets. when you cross the fourth street turn left and walk towards the alley. if you reach the alley you went too far. the entrance to the parish hall is right adjacent to the allley on Adams. 

that is the shortest route. 

Green line 

take the green line to the harlem terminal. there you can catch a cab.or get off at oak park ave. and walk stouth to Adams and end west to East. this is about a 6 block wallkthere are buses on harlem ave. which is also about 6 blocks from the church walking east . 

the station at East ave. does have a turnstyle that will let you enter with a card or exact change.
