Rosen Shingle Creek Resort Hotel in Orlando Florida from July 3 through July
8.

Room rates for the convention are as follows: Singles and doubles, $63 per
night. Tripples and quads, $67 per night.

With such attractive rates and with such a wonderful location for this
convention, rooms are filling up very quickly. Therefore, it is imperative
that you make your reservation as soon as possible. To do this,Please call
the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel at 866-996-6338.

The National Federation of the Blind has already had all rooms spoken for in
the original block designated for the convention. As a result, a limited
number of new rooms have just been made available. With this in mind, you
need to make your reservation IMMEDIATELY in order to secure a room. Rooms
will soon be gone, so do not delay.

This years convention will be one of the best ever. So, if you wish to take
part in this years convention, please make your reservation today.

For those who may need some financial assistance for the National
convention, there are two ways to secure possible funding. One way is to
apply for a Kenneth Jernigan scholarship. For details on how to do this,
please consult the Braille Moniter. The other way one can receive
assistance is through the James Chappell Memorial Fund. If you wish to
apply for Chappell funds, you must send a completed application to Patti
Gregory-Chang on or before May 1. The application is available on our
website, www.nfbofillinois.org.Once you have filled out your application,
please email to Patti at pattichang at att.net.

If you need assistance in filling out an application for Chappell funds,
