The National Federation of the Blind of Illinois Chicago Chapter will meet
on Saturday, February 11, 2012. The time is 1:00 P.M. and the place is the
Exchequer Pub and Restaurant, 226 South Wabash Avenue, Chicago.

Our program this month will feature David Flament, adaptive technology
instructor of the Guild for the Blind. He will talk about using facebook
and twitter with screen readers. In addition to our program, you will hear
a National presidential release, as well as a state presidential report.
You will also have a chance to hear about the Washington Seminar and the
roll we can all play in shaping legislation which will have a positive
effect for the Blind of this country.

Finally, if you plan to use paratransit services to get to and from the
meeting, please request your ride from the meeting no earlier than 3:30 P.M.
We have at least one important vote to take during the meeting, and we need
at least 20 participants in order to make this vote.

Hope to see you all next week.
