[Iabs-talk] Important Meetings at national convention

Hello all,
For a number of years, those of us going to convention have attended key meetings, and reported back to the afilliate at our board meeting or in a written report.
I am asking for volunteers to cover the meetings that are not covered. Of course you are free to attend other meetings, but we need at least one person covering the following meetings.

July 5, 2015
5:00 - 6:30 pm—NFB LIONS GROUP
Salon 14, level 2
Federationists who are members of Lions or potential members should come. Discuss activities of your club that help blind people locally or nationally. We will be raising expectations of blind people by raising umbrellas to break the world record for the largest umbrella mosaic. Will you be one of the three thousand people in attendance at our world record attempt? All you have to do is hold up an umbrella that we will provide to help form the message which will be viewed from above.

States and chapters learn of and build on experiences of other groups in raising funds for themselves and for the national treasury. We will give special attention to creating some short local and state publications for fundraising that use many pictures and very few words. Every affiliate should be represented on this network.
