CHICAGO CHAPTER MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT

 

The National Federation of the Blind of Illinois Chicago Chapter will hold
its September meeting on Saturday, September 12.  The time of the meeting is
1:00 P.M. and the place is the Exchequer Pub and Restaurant, 226 South
Wabash Avenue, Chicago.

 

Have you planning to attend the National Federation of the Blind of Illinois
convention for the first time?  Do you wonder what you might expect to occur
during one of these conventions?  If you attend this meeting, your questions
may well be answered.  Our program for this meeting will focus on what one
might expect to find at a state convention of the National Federation of the
Blind of Illinois.  This should be a very interesting program, especially
for those who have not attended a state convention in a while.

 

Are you planning to come to October Fest?  If you have not submitted your
name to Patti Chang and wish to attend this event, September 12 is the
deadline to get your reservation in.  The cost of this event is $25 per
person.  You will be entitled to a meal and one beverage.  If you choose to
take a second beverage, you will pay something for it.  IN the past, soda
has sold for $1 a can, with beer and wine selling for $2 per beverage.

 

Finally, if you have any money for your October Fest reservation, you may
give it to Patti at the meeting.
