My name is Dennis Deacon. I am the organizer of the Chicago Digital Accessibility & Inclusive Design Meetup. I wanted to let you know about an event my meetup is hosting on Thursday, October 19th at 6:30pm at the Journal of the American Bar Association. Lainey is a disability rights lawyer, author, and public speaker who works primarily with the blind community on technology, digital, and information access issues. She is internationally recognized for negotiating landmark accessibility agreements without lawsuits and for pioneering the collaborative dispute resolution method known as Structured Negotiation.

 

She will be proving an accessibility legal update and speak about Structured Negotiation. This is a free event and simply requires submitting an RSVP, so we can provide names for building security.
