 We are making an impact and here is an incredible opportunity for blind vendors, staff and friends do your part. 

Submit written testimony to support the repeal of the cook county beverage tax. Follow the instructions below this takes five minutes and yet is incredibly important. You do not  want miss this opportunity to save your own job and repeal this tax!

They are due by 11 o'clock tomorrow morning and we were just informed that they will be taking electronic testimony for the first time ever!

This is the first time the County Board will be taking electronic witness slips for items heard during board meeting. Filling a slip takes less than five minutes, but could have a huge effect on the board’s decision to repeal the beverage tax.

Here’s how to file a witness slip to support repealing the Cook County Beverage Tax:

*	In the third section, FILE ID NUMBER, type 17-4704 (This is the item number for the repeal ordinance).
*	In the fourth section, TESTIMONY. If you cannot attend the meeting but wish to support the item, check DO NOT ATTEND MEETING but REGISTER IN FAVOR. This indicates to the board that you are submitting in support, but cannot be present.
*	In the fourth section, WRITTEN TESTIMONY. You can type or copy/paste any written statement you want included in the meeting record on the box provided. If you do not wish to type a statement type “N/A”.
*	Continue with the verification items and click I am Finished. You're done!
