Hello all,

 

On June 21 at1:30 pm, Second Sense has a unique opportunity to show you cutting edge technology to assist people with vision loss to independently navigate public places like train stations, airports and other large venues.  This new wayfinding technology is extremely cost effective for any public space needing only a printed page affixed to signage to be used.  

 

NaviLens is an easy to use app for smart phones using computer vision, a strong algorithm and 3D audio to notify the user where to go.  The camera lens picks up the markers almost instantaneously from long distances and without focusing, even when the person is moving. 

 

This award-winning technology is currently in use in the Barcelona Spain public transit system, underground and bus system.  The developers are looking to expand to the United States and we have been offered the opportunity to see the product in action.
