Greetings! 

 

The CTA's 2018 Holiday Food Train Committee is still accepting requests from
non-for profit organizations seeking a donation of holiday food baskets, to
feed the homeless and low income families. 

 

Listed below are the details on how to request a donation from the 2018
Holiday Food Train Program.  

 

*	Request must be submitted via email by Thursday, September 27, 2018,
to Maria-Teresa Roman at mroman at transitchicago.com
<mailto:mroman at transitchicago.com>  

 

*	Organizations requesting a donation of holiday baskets must be a
non-for-profit that serve low income individuals and/or the homeless
population 

 

*	Organization requesting a donation of holiday baskets must be in the
City of Chicago and/or within the Cook County boundaries 

 

*	Request for donation of holiday food baskets must be on the
organization's letterhead and indicate their mailing and physical address

 

*	Request must state organization's mission statement, the population
they serve, how and why population is served

 

*	Request must state how the organization would benefit from being
selected to receive a donation of CTA's holiday food baskets

 

*	Request must provide a contact's name with organization’s telephone
number and a cell number  

 

*	Organization must understand that submitting a request does not
guarantee selection 

 

*	Organization must be open to a site visit 

 

*	Organization must understand that all donation of food baskets are
to be picked-up at a pre-assigned CTA rail station
