Please be advised of the below information during this coming weekend.

 

Free Bus Shuttle Service During Line Cut on Green Line

 

EFFECTIVE: Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 2:00 a.m. to Monday, September
24, 2018 at 4:00 a.m.

 

During the days and times listed above, the Green Line between 51st and
Ashland/63rd stations will be out of service due to a line cut. A bus
shuttle service will provide free rides for customers traveling between
these stations at these times during normal Green Line hours of operation.

 

Signs and personnel will direct customers to and from the shuttle buses and
the stations.

 

Shuttle buses will make stops at or near the affected rail stations as
follows. 

 

Shuttle buses will not make any other stops.

*      51st - All shuttle buses will stop eastbound on 51st at the 51st
Green Line station.

*      Garfield - Southbound shuttle buses will stop eastbound on Garfield
at the station.

*      Northbound shuttle buses will stop westbound on Garfield at the
station.

*      King Drive - Southbound shuttle buses will stop westbound on 63rd at
King Drive (nearside).

*      Northbound shuttle buses will stop eastbound on 63rd at King Drive
(nearside).

*      Cottage Grove - Southbound shuttle buses will stop southbound on
Cottage Grove at 63rd (nearside). Northbound shuttles will stop northbound
on Cottage Grove at 63rd (farside).

*      Halsted - Southbound shuttle buses will stop westbound on 63rd at
Halsted (farside). Northbound shuttle buses will stop eastbound on 63rd at
Halsted (farside).

*      Ashland/63rd - All shuttle buses will stop at the Ashland/63rd Green
Line station bus bay.
