Equip for Equality is Still Working for You


As we enter the third week of shelter in place here in Illinois, I wanted to reach out to tell you about some of the steps we are taking to protect the rights of people with disabilities during this national crisis.


Staying Open


While our offices are closed to protect staff and clients, we are continuing to provide legal services and self-advocacy assistance during normal business hours. Our attorneys and staff are set up to work remotely so all of our phone numbers and email addresses are still active. Advocacy Efforts


We are involved in organizing and engaging with coalitions to advocate on COVID-19 related issues. We have signed two letters to the Governor of Illinois
