Hi Ellen, these are the polished notes from the IABS board meeting Dec. 13:
12/13/2020 IABS BOARD MEETING NOTES:
if not noted, the speaker is Ellen Bartelt
(I didn't have the attendants, we may need to find the log from Zoom)

Washington Seminar will be feb 8-11. Application is on our website, due dec
31.
Elizabeth Raus, NABS Treasurer, says there will be a midwest auction basket
for WS? we could give a t-shirt to the basket and a coozie (for which we
can give a donation to IL affilliate).
Sara Luna moves to proceed with this for nabs fundraising

Marilyn Green: we still have 2 shirts, med and xl.
Moore moves to donate $5 to NFBI for a coozie to go into the basket.

Green will get the shirt and coozie to Bartelt in a couple weeks.

Midwest seminar:
Bartelt, Luna, Green and Rous have a planning meeting Dec 15.
the seminar will be presumably virtual, March 19-20 has been proposed, $25
fee. Registration should be posted after new year.
Green thought states paid mroe than $100 contributions in past years.
Luna: agenda coming together

NABS public speaking seminar, Jan. 9-10:
info has been posted to listservs. Registration was extended to dec 18. It
is $25. so far there are about 40 registered.

end balance $808.40 (includes pending reimbursment for excellent student
awards)
