Hello:

Please be aware of the below information related to work being done
and sidewalk closures related to the RPM Project.

Dates: Weekdays
            Monday, April 5 to Friday, April 16, 2021

Location
1126 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. to underneath the CTA tracks
*         The alley behind 5600-5658 N. Winthrop Ave.
*
Work Hours: 7am to 5pm (continuous sidewalk closure)

Work Activity: Temporary Station Construction

Local Impact
*         The sidewalk on the north side of W. Bryn Mawr Ave. under
the CTA tracks will be closed continuously (24/7) until the work
activity is completed.
*
*         The sidewalk on the south side of W. Bryn Mawr Ave. will remain open
*         Access to businesses and the CTA-Bryn Mawr station will be
maintained at all times.
*
*         The parking lane within the work zone will be intermittently closed.
*         Access to enter/exit the alley via W. Bryn Mawr Ave. will be
intermittently prohibited.
*
*         Access to enter/exit the alley via W. Hollywood Ave. will be
maintained.
*
*         The contractor will maintain garbage and recycling pickup.
*
*         There will be noise while work is being performed. Noise will include:
o    General demolition noise suck as beeping from backup alarms on vehicles.
The CTA is continuing construction on the Red and Purple Modernization
(RPM) Phase One project to rebuild our 100-year-old rail
infrastructure and improve transit service. Work will be performed
that will affect your community and create inconveniences. We are
committed to doing our best to minimize the impact of our work and
will continue to keep you updated throughout the project.
