[IABS-Talk] Convention Friday night meal

We have had only 3 takers for this option, so will not be asking the hotel
to do a box grab and go option for Friday. Please note that the traditional
at-large pizza dinner is also not an option this year.

Dear all, 

 

Due to the limited service in the hotel restaurant, we have explored the
option of a grab and go meal for Friday night. Please reply OFFLINE to
pattischang at gmail.com <mailto:pattischang at gmail.com>  if you would like to
exercise the option for a grab and  go meal on Friday night October 22. I
need to see how much interest there is to decide whether we should do this. 

Chef approved a Grab n' Go with deli sandwich, cookie, bag of chips, and
whole fruit for $20/person

For those who are not in the scholarship dinner, your options otherwise
would be to order in or to go to the restaurant. The restaurant has a very
limited menu and very limited staff, so you may need to wait a long time. At
the time of our board meeting there were 5 options on the menu which were
good but one server was available for everyone.
