Subject: [IABS-Talk] New Illinois Cosponsor on H.R. 4853, the Medical Device
Nonvisual Accessibility Act of 2021
Good Morning All,
I have some great news to start the morning. Rep. Mike Quigley, (D. IL 5),
has cosponsored H.R. 4853, the Medical Device Nonvisual Accessibility Act of
2021. If you live in his district, please contact the office to thank him
for cosponsoring this bill.
The bill's original sponsor is Jan. Schakowsky, (D. IL. 9). Illinois now has
five of the 58 cosponsors, which include: Rep. Sean Casten, (D. IL 6), Rep.
Danny K. Davis, (D. IL 7), Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, (D. IL 8), Rep. Jesus
Garcia, (D. IL 4) and Rep. Marie Newman, (D. IL. 3).
Dustin and I appreciate all of your help gaining cosponsors on these bills.
If your representative is not listed here, please continue to seek their
support.
