Where: Art Institute of Chicago 111 S. Michigan, and Harold Washington
Public Library, 400 South State Street, Chicago, IL

 

Join the National Federation of the Blind and National Hockey League
referee, Dan O'Rourke, on September 8 at 8:30 a.m. at the Route 66 Marker
across from the art institute and walk to the Chicago Public Library to help
celebrate the Route 66 Ride for Literacy finale. Meet and cheer on Dan
O'Rourke as he finishes his journey, hear from leaders of the movement,
enjoy refreshment while connecting with members, and learn about Braille and
other reading resources for blind people.
