However this is also not feedback that is solely related to applying for the additional ten rides.<div><br></div><div>So I do just want to ensure that everyone understands that if you are a current, registered TAP/RAP user you will not need to upload any form of ID or any other document to qualify for the increase. </div><div><br></div><div>ID may be needed for other services available through the current transit system, such as applying for Paratransit but the ten additional rides only concerns those who are already certified and therefore no documentation is needed. </div><div><br></div><div>Just to ensure it\u2019s known, the new transit authority does not yet exist and won\u2019t really exist until next year. The only new addition to the RTA\u2019s website that we\u2019ve been made aware of is this ability to apply for ten rides. </div><div><div><br></div><div>That being said any and all accessibility concerns are valid and I highly encourage feedback to be sent to both us and whichever transit entity you are specifically referencing but please try to ensure it\u2019s under the related email thread. The birthdate drop-down menus are not adequately labeled. The form wouldn\u2019t accept pictures of my state id even though they are valid. There is a field labeled \u2018center\u2019 which doesn\u2019t mean anything. The form instructions are inadequate. On the last page I saw a list of services I could potentially apply to even though I am already certified. I needed to use the select buttons for each item like a doctor\u2019s letter, proof of SSDI or Medicare letter, and selecting an option for free public transportation. I got to the point where I uploaded my state id but that wasn\u2019t adequate for the form. I guess this new transit authority wants to make it as difficult as possible for people to apply for additional rides. I wonder if or who tested this form for accessibility.
