I realize this is very short notice, but there have been some extenuating
circumstances and we're all trying to make the best of it.  The information
about publicity strategies came out just before the holidays.  Not a lot
gets done anywhere the week of Christmas, so here we are.  Sorry you aren't
able to help out on this one, but it's understandable and hey,. there will
be plenty more opportunities, with lots of Louis Braille activities coming
up as the year goes on.

I am sorry to say, but this is an unorganized way to persue any task.
We were made aware of this event longtime back.
And since you chair the PR committee you should have called a meeting to 
discuss the logistics on spreading the word around for this event well in 
advance.
I would love to offer myself for this great cause, but on this short notice 
I cannot because I have other commitments.

On a different subject, I haven't received your travel info for the 
Washington Seminar yet, I am wondering if you are still planning to go.
