Hi list,

I am glad to report that my voting experience was flawless.  I was somewhat 
apprehensive because Springfield recently had to dump the Populex machines 
because the company had forged or fabricated documents indicating the 
machine had been tested.  We went back to paper ballots, and used the 
Automark to complete them.  I found the Automark moice menus much less 
cumbersome to navigate.

I'm delighted to report that today, for the first time, the audio machine at
my polling place actually worked for me!  There were no hitches at all.  The
speech was clear, I was able to review my choices, and the staff were
helpful and informed.  Hurray!
