Hello,

Attached, please find the biographical and district information regarding 
Representative Kathleen Riggs.  You can find more info at her web site 
www.kathyryg.org.  I hav called and e-mailed her Vernon Hills office. 
Although she indicated a willingness to meet with us, she said her schedule 
while on break is such that arranging a meeting time will be difficult.  I 
intend to proceed with her under the assumtion we may still be able to 
support a quiet car resolution in support of HR 734 this year, while 
introducing
TVI Braille Competency legislation next session.

Does anyone know of affiliate members who live in the 59th District, which I 
know includes Vernon Hills and may include Northbrook?  If so, please let me 
know.

Biography:
 Former Village Clerk for Vernon Hills, Chief Deputy Recorder of Deeds for 
Lake County,
and Village Trustee for Vernon Hills. Her experience also includes a career 
as a
mental health administrator at Clearbrook Center and Northwest Mental Health 
Center.
She has been active with the Northwest Municipal Conference, Sensible Growth 
Committee,
the Nike Site Restoration Advisory Board, College of Lake County Southlake 
Advisory
Board, Women's Leadership Council, the Lake County Gang Prevention Alliance 
and the
YWCA for Northeastern Illinois. She has completed coursework for a Masters 
in Public
Administration from Roosevelt University. She holds a Masters of Arts in 
Education
from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Family 
Services from
Northern Illinois University. Married (Tom) and has four children.
