Subject: audio description the fcc and resending attachments

Hello

Dave Porter here.

Thought you might be interested,

1, Today while working with a client we came up with what appears to be a
satisfactory work around for replacing his TV radio with accessible digital
TV audio output.

Using his government supplied $40 coupons we purchased a digital converter
with two audio output jacks on it. Make sure the digital converter you buy
has audio output jacks. We plugged it into the auxiliary inputs on his
radio, hooked up a rabbit-ear antenna set ran the set-up channel scan
function on the converter, and he's good to go.

He can get all the TV channels, and even has capability to receive audio
description on channels where the feed is provided.

2, I'm appending to this email a "request for feedback on audio described
programming. Time to hit the FCC directly with your questions comments or
complaints about it's current handling of audio description on TV and
elsewhere.

3, I'm re-attaching the announcement I sent out yesterday about our upcoming
Saturday seminar, "Obama's toolbox." If you saw that please disregard the
cross-post.

 best

Dave
