[il-talk] Blind man on American Idol

Did ya notice he never once referred to himself as blind?  And he  himself 
admits that he has almost no usable vision.  And he came onto the  stage and off 
using sighted guide.  I'm wondering how they play that off in  the show if he 
advances to the point when he has to do stage blocking with other  
performers.  Then maybe we'll see some blindness techniques.  But the  man can sing, 
which is the most important thing for now!

Well, we  knew it had to happen sooner or later.  A blind man is going to 
compete  on American Idol.  And the cool thing was that he really did get it on  
his own merit.  He has a good voice.  However, new judge Kara  DioGuardi, did 
make the comment that he was very courageous.  (You know,  you're so wonderful 
and all that.)  It will be interesting to see how  this plays out.  
And I swore I would never watch this show again!
