That is part of what makes Maryellen so special.  She has a gift for being
nice and sweet, while at the same time, direct and unwilling to take any
stuff.  The remarkable thing is that she seems to be able to do all of this
with a single comment.

Maryellen also had one of my favorite bus lines, when she got on a bus, in
Chicago, and was asked "what stop do you want?" she allegedly said "I'll
know it when you call it!"
