are you guys trying to rile me ? because you are doing a good job. i talk
about veterans day and you talk about idols. lyou know there is a
commandment that says no fallso idols. today is Friday the 13th. never was a
favorite of mine. it seemed i alwlays got into some trouble on that day. but
let me tell you about a friday the 13th that happened  3 1 years ago.l my
daughter had just died of cancer. she was 7. she loved going to the bank.
the bank people were always very nice to her. suckers and candy and what
ever. our bank always gave out gifts for depositing money. ah yes MONEY. you
knew it was coming? and the bank had on display the gifts. they also had a
gift van driving around the neighborhood and if you had the banks sticker on
your bulmber they could stop you a give you a prize. well amy,my daughter,
always wanted the bumper sticker.but we weren't into stickers. finally mary
gave in to her and put the sticker on the car shortly before she died.
made her very happy. so on that friday after she died we were driving doing
errands and this van pulls up behind our and beeps and flashes their light.
my son was in the car and he knew right away what it was. we had won a color
TV from the bank. amy had given us a gift. and we had that tv a long time.
it was amy. so small gifts like doing something you don't really want to do
but to please soneone else can come back and give you more joy than than the
small gift.
this is the season for giving. and i have found that when you give good
things happen to you. so whether its gift cards or braille coins you will
not be sorry. and lets share stories about giving. i'm sure all of us have
them. i have more a will tell about my daughter later. some are amazing.
