Subject: [Isvialumni] Mobile website resource

I've been passing this around to whomever I meet lately. If you
haven't heard of mobile websites they are wonderful! Mobile websites
are built to be used on mobile devices with internet capability such
as iPhones, or other palm devices. The idea is that they are slimmed
down websites that are easier to view on the portable devices. Well,
this happens to open a door to universal accessibility which is
something I strongly believe in. Universal accessibility means that
something is made accessible for the sake of being available for
anyone to use. For example ramps are great for those using
wheelchairs, but they also help parents with strollers, same with
automatic doors, etc. In the same respect making signs in large print
to benefit everyone who may have low vision and not legally blind, but
the sings are a benefit to those of us who are legally blind.

The same is true for these mobile websites: they are created for the
purpose of being used on portable devices, but we can reap the
benefits! So, check out this link and let me know what you think.
