ROOSEVELT, I AM THE nfbi NAG. and fundraiser. i(the nfbi) buy gift cards for various stores and restaurant and sell them to members or anyone else wishing to have one. the company that sells the gift cards gives the nfbi a discount. for instance we get a 10% discount for Chili's. so if you bought $100 of gift cards the nfbi would get it for $90. we still charage you $100 and the nfbi makes $10. if you order totals about $5000 the nfbi can make about $300 profit. sales have been slow this summer hence the reference to 'silllence'. are you coming to the state convention? if so you can pay me  then.
go to the Manna website and check the vendor's list. it tells how much each gift card is worth and the discount.
