hi folks, thanks to many people last night for making Fest a great
evening. food and drink was fabulous and the music was wonderful
also congrats to gary jones who won the louis braille coin raffle.
OK, but that's over. now we have to think whats coming up.
what's coming up you say???
state convention and gift card orders.
Oct. 5 is the deadline for orders. they will be dellivered at the state
convention which is on Oct. 9, 10, and 11 at the Holiday Inn O'Hare in 
Chicago.
and the gift cards will certainly help to pay for all the members who needed 
assistance
to the convention. Patti tells me we had a record amounlt of applicants.
as brian johnson used to say, the NFB is only a conduit for money and 
information.
right now we have an order of $1900. which is small for us. and
remember small orders grow to big orders sol don't be bashful labout 
ordering only say $50.
they say good things come in small packages. let's make then right.
