i go to food pantries with my roommate.  there is a real good one at 6525
clark street open saturday mid day and you can go every week.  they even
have quality stuff from trader joe and whole foods.  yeah seniors get the
shaft and no respect.

Hi Connie!

I started the same thing on thanksgiving last year,  I went to King Soopers 

and found an elderly lady with a few groceries in her cart.  I went around 

by the clerk and handed him a $20 saying I would buy her groceries.

She never even saw me and never knew who bought her groceries.

Just one way to pay it forward!
