Hi everyone,

If you want to go to the beach after the NFB Chapter meeting, i'm going to have a little beach party for my birthday and you're invited.

here's the details:



Where?...at North Avenue Beach, 1600 North Lake Shore Drive 60610



Directions and Travel: according to RTA, 

start at Exchequer Pub: 226 South Wabash

Walk one and half blocks south to wabash and Van Buren (cross Van Buren)

Walk one block west (right) to the south east corner of van buren (which runs east west) and State street

Board the number 72 bus going east to the lake shore

Get off at North Avenue Beach

The RTA also says you can take the same route in reverse as late as 9:30pm.  



When?...from about 5 pm (or as soon as the meeting is over, so we can catch some of the air and water show, to maybe 7pm (or later)



Food...i will bring some delicious junk food snacks, but at 5:30 the beach's restaraunt called Castaways will open to the public, so we can eat there. Their food is mainly light fair and under $10 without drinks.
