For those of you who have notetakers, and are participating in the Braille Readers Are Leaders contest, and even if you're not, but have a notetaker, you can sign up for web braille through NLs. The majority of the NLs braille titles have braille files that you can download from the web braille site. These electronic files are exactly the same as the hardcopy edition of the Braille book. you simply need to call the library and find out where to call for a user name and password. When you get your user name and password, you can go to www.loc.gov/nls/braille. There you can search for Braille titles to use on your Braille notetaker or play on your stream or booksense.
