The player plays NLS and RFB&d books as well as MP3 files. MP3 files
should be in a folder titles "audio+podcasts".
The thunb drive cannot have any software on it, such as a u3 drive or
a web browser. If these items are on a USB drive, they need to be
removed for it to work with the NLS player. Also, the thumb drives
that work with the NLS player cannot have usage meters. I use a four
gigabyte Kingston Data Traveler 101 first generation series. it works
great.
I advise all folks who actively read books to obtain an advanced
player. This player allows someone to advance by chapter, page or
phrase. All RFB&D books are indexed by chapter and page. going to a
specific page is not possible with the basic player.
