[il-talk] March Hawk Talk: Recipe Correction

The recipe in the March Blackhawk Chapter newsletter for peanut butter cookies with chocolate chips had an error.  Butter was left out.  See the complete, corrected recipe below.  

PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES WITH CHOCOLATE AND/OR BUTTERSCOTCH CHIPS     ***CORRECTION***

 

Cream together  . . .

1 cup white sugar

*** 1 cup butter ****  (I forgot this in the               original newsletter.  I'm sorry!)     

2 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup peanut butter

4 tablespoons of milk

 

Combine in a separate bowl . . . 

3 ½ cups flour

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

 

Add flour mixture to creamed mixture and combine thoroughly.  Add chips. (no amount given, so it's up to you)  Mix.  

 

Put in refrigerator overnight.

 

Drop on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes in a preheated 350º oven. Enjoy!
