Hello Federal Legislation Committee Members,,

I hope you have noticed on the NFBI web site or through an IL-Talk posting, 
that we will have our first FedLeg meeting of 2010 at 7:00 on Friday, March 
19th.  Please dial into 712-580-7700 and use passcode 6324.  The tentative 
agenda includes the following items;

1.  Status of federal issues presented at Washington Seminar:  Pedestrian 
Safety, Technology and Social Security.  Who will offer to become very well 
informed on each of these issues?
2.  Plans for follow-up visits in Congressional district offices.  Who will 
handle which districts?
3.  Status of directory of members and friends by Congressional district. 
Help is needed to put this together and keep it current.
4.  2010 Senatorial campaigns:  who will follow each of the primary winners?
5.  Articles for Braille Examiner:  Who will volunteer to author the next 
article?

Our expectation is that each committee member will "sign-on" to one of the 
above items.
