[il-talk] Digetal cartridges

Dave,

Let me add a couple of things. The cable to download to the cartridge is also available from APH, I believe for $5.
These cables are also available from electronic stores and are apparently called extension cables. Please note they are
different than the cables that come with the VR Stream and BookSense for connecting Jump Drives.

One issue with buying an off-the-shelf cable is that there is not a lot of space around the USB plug mounted in the
cartridge. Some off-the-shelf cables have the right ends but the end that connects to the cartridge is too large on the
outside. If possible, verify it will work before buying or order from a source that knows the cable will fit.

I was one of the lucky people who purchased a jump drive that was not compatible with the NLS player. It appears that
most drives work, though, but note that some are not compatible. Try to buy one that you know someone else has
already used.

Thanks.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson
