Good morning everyone,

And it is a good morning. Yesterday the budget was finally passed.
Because of that, the SOS budget office was able to review the situations
throughout the department. They determined that the Talking Book and
Braille Service was a critically important program that Secretary White
was committed to keeping intact. So at 9:30, I was figuring out how to
make the transition smoothly to handling the majority of the patrons in
IL and at 11:45 I didn't have that problem anymore.

We don't know the details yet, but there seems to be a reprieve.

Sharon
