[il-talk] My dad's home now

Hi all.  Just wanted to let you know that my dad got released from the
hospital today.  He saw the bone specialist and he has given my dad strict
orders to take it easy, not even do stairs from 5 to 10 days.  My dad has
several bulging disks plus a bunch of arthritis and bursitis going on in his
back so everything that happened is all connected.  That's why he had all
that pain.  The bone specialist gave him a couple shots that were a
combination of cortisone and novocane.  Hopefully they'll work.  He'll have
to get used to the fact that he can't do outside work like raking leaves and
shoveling snow and all that.  If he does, he could land up hurting himself
again.  Thank you all for your kind wishes, thoughts, and prayers.
