On September 30th the U.S. Access Board will hold two meetings and the Board
wants to hear from you!!



These meetings will take place from 9:30 to 4:30 at the:



Courtyard by Marriott Magnificent Mile

165 East Ontario Street

Ontario Rooms B and C

Chicago, Illinois  60611



.         During the morning. from 9:30 to Noon the Board will be holding a
hearing on its Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to update sections of its ADA
Accessibility Guidelines for Transportation Vehicles that cover access to
buses and vans which was published on July 26, 2010



.         During the afternoon. from 1:30 to 4:30 the Board is pleased to be
joined by members of the Chief Information Officers Council in holding the
first in a series of "listening sessions" on the implementation of Section
508 of the Rehabilitation Act to consider how the Federal government can
improve access to electronic and information technology for persons with
disabilities
