In this message to the National Newsletter Committee, Robert Leslie Newman announces four new state websites and a new newsletter.

Debbie

Dear Newsletter Publications Committee member

First, I hope this message finds you all in good health and spirits!

Convention is over and I bet some of you are engaged in doing some of what I am --- still clearing up post-convention responsibilities, commitments and the like. Even ---dragging out a souvenir purchased, checking it out and either feeling the same fascination about it as you first did --- or saying to yourself, "Why did I --- and what do I do with it now?"

Second, Soon I'll be sending out a copy of the written transcript of the recording I made of the Committee meeting. Recall, I structured the meeting to be a "help," a guide to anyone interested in figuring out if and how to start and keep going a viable newsletter. And --- how else can we keep our communication with members working, and get our message out to others. (Use of websites, social media, email lists, etc.) The actual recording is available by request!

Third: If you think back on one of my previous messages, or were at the meeting, recall that our committee is helping states who are not on the web, to get on! (By helping to purchase a domain name, get pages coded free and have a free server to house the site on. This is a plan to get them started, and once it is up, they are expected to find their own web-master and take over the maintenance of the site [though, I'm here to assist with that, too; not to allow the state to fall into a trap of "Now we've got it ---?])

The great thing is, because of us, four states are now up that previously were not! Nevada at http://www.nfbnevada.org Vermont at http://www.nfbvt.org Wyoming at http://www.nfbwyoming.org and Washington DC at

http://www.nfbdc.org

Additionally, Nevada has a brand new newsletter which is posted upon their site- "Silver Standard."

Fourth: What do we need to be doing? What are you thinking? (Ask around, what are states feeling, thinking, dreaming?)

[You can bet, I'm thinking on this!]

Thank you for your participation and support!!! (I am always open to your thoughts.)
