Debbie,

Unfortunately, I have another commitment for that evening and will not be
able to make the meeting.  It probably will come as no surprise to you that
I would like to do something on NewsLine for this meeting.

We do have a couple of magazines for children on the service and teens
should be able to make use of it, particularly with Rolling Stone being one
of the magazines.

Also, it is my firm belief that this is a resource that professionals of all
kinds who are not blind are not aware of.  And, if they are aware of it,
they don't know about the content or capabilities of the service.

The NFBI Parents Committee will meet on the evening of Thursday, December 8,
at 7:30 to begin planning for the 2012 spring seminar.  Whether or not you
are an official member of the committee, you are most welcome to get
involved.  Please call the conference line, 218-936-1200, and use the pass
code 727368 (PARENT).  This  will be a brainstorming session, so start
thinking of ideas for a conference theme, program items, and possible
presenters.  Let's make this the best seminar yet!
