Hello Everyone,

The Senate Committee on health education labor and pentions has not yet met
regarding their recommendations forreauthorization of the Workforce
Investment Act.  Consequently, we still have time to act.  Senator Mark Kirk
is on this committee.

I am asking that everyone call his office this week to express your strong
opposition to Section 511 of the Workforce Investment Act, requesting that
this section be removed.  The phone number for his Washington DC office is

If we make our voices heard, we have the opportunity to sharply curtail
exploitation of blind and other disabled workers in the work force.  Please
