Why ?

Have you or someone you know lost vision?  Do you feel your life has been adversely affected by the loss of eyesight?  Come and meet the members of the Blackhawk Chapter, the local organization of the National Federation of the Blind.  We are changing what it means to be blind in the Quad Cities and surrounding areas.

  Learn about our approach to life, an approach that promotes the philosophy that the blind can lead a normal, productive life, that blindness can be reduced to nothing more than a mere nuisance.
