Hello All:
Those wishing to use their paratransit service in Florida must send a copy
of their certification letter to Lynx transportation at the fax number of
407-849-6759 to the eligibility department. Those who ride Chicagoland
paratransit should contact Clara Wells at RTA 312-913-3125 about getting
your letter. The RTA will fax this letter for you if you request it. The
fares range from $4 to $7 per trip. According to Lynx, trips where both
the origin and destination are ¾ of a mile of a fixed route bus
alignment, fare would be $4. If the origin and destination are both
outside of a ¾ mile of a fixed route bus alignment, it would be $7 per
one way trip. When you set a trip, the reservationist will inform you of
the cost. There are ticket books available online at the cost of $18 for a
$20 book and $45 for a $50 book. Books can be purchased at
www.golynx.com\lynxstore <http://www.golynx.com/lynxstore> . The tickets
are in increments of 50 cents and one dollar. The phone number to Lynx
transportation is 407-423-8747.
Good luck to everyone and happy traveling.
