hi folks, well i am up and found nothing in my inbox. pathetic. 

i guess i'll have to go to the next step. no chapters have i heard from. so now we will go after 

board members. very very few so far. if all the board members sent in a $100 order we would raise about $5000. not too shabby. our state president and treasurer have done their part. but what about the rest??? Board members are suppose to lead. SO LEAD. 

we need the $$$$$ honey. our mayor's mot going to send us money,the governor is not going to send us $ and the Barach isn't either. remember 

how scholarships are so important. well i'm tired of standing up here on my soap box 

and i need another nap. so 

remember that great dad, that smart graduate and that perky bride and handsome groom and most remember how it was for you when you went to school and tried to get a job and how lonely most of us felt, not knowing if anyone cared about us.  

i remember the the 5th or 6th grader picking me up in the morning and taking me home at night even thought i was a foot taller. my mother hated seeing me walk down the halls in our house touching the walls for guidance.  

i was lucky, i got an education and money for more education and taught for almost 40 

years, and had a familly with a great wife and kids and not grandchildren. i was poor but i got scholarships and that's what we are all about. and selling gift cards will insure that other blind  

people will be educated and earn a living so they can go on to have families.some people think blindness is an annoyance. i disagree. it is lack of one sense and if the others are taken care of and the brain is pushed to it's full potential we can survive.
