Those present at the meeting were:  Leslie Hamric, Dave Meyer, Linda Hendel, 
Patrick Olson, Steve Hastalis, Patti Chang, Danny Mandrell, Debbie Stein, 
Charlene elder, Deliliah Jackson, Bill Reif, Victor Kunzman, Cid Winer, 
Andrew Webb, Dave Rainey and Jamal Powell.There were sixteen people present.

Presidential Release No. 404 was played.  A lot of the release dealt with 
the National Convention in Dallas, Texas.  Dates are June 30-July 5. 
Cassettes of the release started in the Fall of 1972 and this month is the 
last cassette release.  Future releases will be distributed on a thumb 
drive.

Mark Riccobono went to the NASA Headquarters in Houston.  He was invited to 
fly on the Zero G airplane.  The goal is to get blind people into scientific 
experimentation.

Braille Education For Literacy And Learning (Bell), had a seminar at the 
National Center.

Officers were elected for the At Large Chapter.  They are: Leslie Hamric, 
President, Linda Hendel, Vice-president, Charlene Elder, 
Secretary-Treasurer, Board Seat 1 Cid Winer, Board Seat 2 Danny Mandrell.

Patti Chang gave the State Report.  The final meeting of the Parents Seminar 
Committee will be on April 9.

HR3086 would abolish the payment of subminimum wages for disabled people. 
We have now about sixty sponsors in the House of Representatives.  Please 
contact your Congressman to co-sponsor HR3086.

POB 1065, Elgin, IL 60121.  Dues for the At Large Chapter are $2.00.  Please 
pay your dues for membership.

Sales items were discussed.  The Certificate Program was explained and the 
raffle for the BookSense was discussed.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 PM.  The next meeting will be held on May 
6, 2012 at 7:00 PM.The same phone number and code apply.  Our State Board 
meeting will occur on May 1.  All are welcome to attend via conference call.
