[il-talk] Chicago chapter fundraisers

To all Chicago Chapter members,

A big thank you goes out to all members who supported our fundraising
efforts last week at Beggars Pizza.

We have two additional fundraisers that we are now conducting.  The first is
our candy sale.  You can find a listing of the candy we sell on the
blindness information channel of NewsLine.  We are selling the same grate
Fanny May candy which we sold at this time last year.  Though some of you
have placed orders, we need more of them.  We are taking orders through May

Finally, the White Sox are back and looking quite interesting.  Adam Dunn is
beginning to hit, AJ Pterzinski is continuing to play well, and the new guys
are acquitting themselves quite nicely.  Konerko is continuing to put up
solid numbers.  All of this should add up to a pretty good baseball team.
Finally, because the white Sox have lowered ticket prices, we have been able
to pass along a rate better than any we have featured in the past 5-7 years.
Our fundraiser will take place immediately following the August Chicago
Chapter meeting.  The cost of each ticket is only $25.  We will be taking
orders for this fundraiser through May 12, the day of the next chapter
meeting.
