I thought I'd pass along this query from Cathy Kudlick in California. I'd
be interested to hear people's ideas on features that would make an
accessible website fun. And has anyone encountered such a thing?

Subject: models of favorite accessible websites?

Dear Tech-Savy and Semi-Tech-Savy Blind Folk and Our Friends,

As some of you know, I've just become director of the Paul K. Longmore
Institute on Disability at SF State. Among other things, I'm planning for
the website. I'm writing to ask if you have a favorite that incorporates
every cool accessible feature and then some? I know the Cal State system is
generally good about access, but I want to take it up a few notches and in
addition to being practical, I hope we can have some fun for blind users.
I'm starting to meet with the developers, so please send me your favorites
public or private so we can dissect the elements that make it great. Feel
free to pass this message on.

If there aren't "Webby" awards for access, there should be!

Thanks everyone,
Cathy K
