Hi,

We are moving to Brookfield in a week or two and have a four-year-old who
is blind and will be attending a preschool. One of the superintendents at
the school district said that they work with LADSE and that our daughter
would be sent to a preschool in Villa Park. We didn't get a whole lot of
information about that school, but I'm under the impression that it would
be a classroom with other disabled individuals. We just moved from
Pennsylvania and had her in a mainstream school (she was basically the only
child in her class with a disability). I wanted to know if someone has had
any experience with this school district or with LADSE and could possibly
give me some feedback or advice.

Things seem to be done a little differently than what they are in
Pennsylvania and I'm still trying to understand how everything works here
with the schools and my daughter.
