[il-talk] Legislative Alert-Surface TransportationBill

I heard a recent news story reporting that the House Bill still removes
gasoline tax revenue from supporting transit, and the Senate Bill was
blocked, due to a procedurral move. The scenario seems to deteriorate, as
the House and Senate exhaust their options.

Cordially,

Steve

I just called Durbin's office. I couldn't reach Emily Sullivan, but spoke
with Mick Demo.

I just called and e-mailed on this. The specific legislative aid in Senator
Durbin's office for transportation is Emily Sullivan. If you call the
switchboard and ask for Durbin's office and ask for her, we may get our
opposition on record. Please take the time. This is important.
